This increase causes your pancreas to release insulin so that your blood glucose levels do not get too high. Blood glucose levels that remain high over time can damage your eyes, kidneys, nerves, and blood vessels.*.^:

I think that my workplace is driving me insane. And I am almost not kidding about it.

Problem is that working IT is working a career path that you cannot NOT take home with you.

Like the doctor that goes to a party only to have people walk up and ask what certain pains mean or who they should see for this or that odd problem, so too does the technician get bombarded with people that see them as an easy source of IT wisdom.

I cannot tell you how many times this has happened to me, and it is almost always the ambush tactic.

Them: "Hey Sam, have not seen you in a while, how are things going."
Me: "Fine... Wife is good, baby is 16 mos and walking, and you?"
Them: "Yeah, funny you ask, my computer has this error saying it cannot find the system disk. Is that bad?"
Me (In my fantasy): "No... of course not. It means you need to plug it into a 220volt outlet, while standing in a puddle, with bare feet."

I firmly believe that there is a special place in Hell for us IT people.

Thanks for the great article and sorry for being away so long.
