I have long been a fan of tea. For as long as I can think back I have always enjoyed the Arizona Iced teas you can buy from gas stations. Recently however, I have been gaining a notable amount of weight. I decided it was the tea and the amount of sugar in each can. A buddy of mine gave me an iced tea maker not to long ago. I have been averaging around 3qts of tea every 24 hours. No sugar is added. Is that too much?

I quit the coffee thing quite a while ago when I had some health issues that added a few pounds. Switching to tea helped me lose a few and stabalize a bit. My favorite is Mount of Olives Treasures, English breakfast. Comes from Israel, and the website even shows you the actual mountains.. lol. I probably do 2-3 teas a day, English breakfast in the morning. Usually an organic green tea in the afternoon or when I get home from work, and chamomile before bed. And other than the english breakfast, I by some sort of organic from a whole foods. Although my husband lived in China for a while and boasts how loose leaf is much better for you, but it's hard to find... I don't add anything to my teas, other than maybe some honey (in an echinacea tea) or lemon (for a detoxing tea..)

Hello, I'm 24, in college, with a low budget. Is buying Earl Grey or Lipton going to benefit me? Is there another brand which is better? My main reason for drinking green/black tea are the heart benefits and losing weight. If these brands aren't really benefiting me, is there a disadvantage (i.e. pollution, effecting my metabolism)?

Thanks
