Nanci,

What a wonderful comment! Thank you for sharing. How funny that last week I did a post on conquering fear and a post on developing self-discipline.

I hope to see you around the blog more often. If there is ever anything I can do to help just shoot me an email.

Congratulations on your hard work! Use the fruits wisely.

I wanted to thank you for this. I have been reading for several months now and think your site is amazing. I stumbled across it right at a time in my life that I was in transition and trying to incorporate a lot of what you speak about into my daily life. When I saw this post, I thought it was an incredibly generous gesture - and an act of courage considering what you could have (and maybe did) open yourself up for. I spent some time thinking about what I would ask for and it came to me that what I really needed was support for my trading business. I have been working and studying to be a stock trader for over two years and I have trouble with the discipline and all the fear (fear or success, fear of failure) and of course fear itself and greed. And just in the process of thinking of asking you for help, I felt like I had received your support and did not actually send you a message.

Well between Friday and Tuesday I was able to finally make a significantly successful trade - ten times more successful than I had even been hoping for. And now I feel that everything I have been studying for years has finally come together and I can build on the "feeling" in my body of what if feels like to be a successful trader.

It is a huge goal I have set for myself. To be mindful in the middle of all the greed and fear in the world (stock market) and in my own mind (no explanation necessary, I'm sure..) and so I wanted to thank you for being part of my journey.

Thank you.

Hi Chris,

WOW!! Synchronicity. Yesterday I set up a blog called empathyangel just for this same reason. Maybe this intention to help and be of service is reaching a critical mass?

I set up the blog as: http://empathyangel.wordpress.com/
and http://empathyangel.blogspot.com just in case readers have a preference.

I have another blog http://transformativeliving.wordpress.com/ which explores compassionate communication, mindfulness, authentic living, Focusing, meditation and anything that enhances our wellbeing.

So happy to meet a fellow traveller....

This how I described my site: No more agony aunts, advice giving by Ms “I know better than you” who tells you what you should do…Empathy Angel is here to empathise, listen, sense what you need or value, care, be curious and compassionate.

Just ask a question, tell your story, explore your feelings, confusions, dilemmas and even the joy, the celebrations and the fun times.

This is a space to care for all ~to feel connected~and to be who you are with acceptance, awareness and love.

If just 2% of the people who read this article take some consistent action to help someone, think how great the potential impact could be.

Saying Goodbye To Colleagues: The Great Cube Cleanout is post that continues to encourage people. Someone here might find it comforting as well.

Alec
P.S. Thank you Daily Minder for your continued inspiration.

Chris this short post I just wrote on how yoga helps depression and how it may actually help to heal stress-damaged genes maybe useful to your readers.
